Hello.
I have a simple Question.
When i want to Print a Cartridge Label or the Box itself, when printed its much to big.
Dont have the original Size.

How much Pixel must the Cartridge Label or the Box have to get the right Size?

Thanks for your help.

Subject moved in the right Sub-forum

Hi Bela22,
Well, it's not really a matter of pixels, because you can get this information viewing file details.
The problem is that you software is not printing the size it should be.
You have to find the good setting that allow you to print it in "real" size.
Stickers have either a 300 or a 600 dpi resolution, but both should print at the exact same size.
You can check the good print size with the marks that were added on the bottom left side of all stickers, but I guess you already saw that.
Good luck !

Ah thanks for moving to the right "Thread".

With which Program do you print?
I used "Microsoft Paint" and "Irfanview", both with no good Match.

Maybe your Configuration to get in in right size would be very helpful too :D

Thanks in advice

Hi,

I personally use Photoshop, but you could also use Gimp, which is Free.
Paint is NOT a photo software, and does not understand the images resolutions. It will print your images in full page, so please just don't use it.
I think you can also have a try to Photofiltre, wich is also Free and closer to Photoshop's UI.

Regards.

inkjet printers are better for box printing.
laser printers gives a matted aspect to the box. (my personnal test was with an ESPON C900)
and they also needs a special paper which resist to high temperatures...

Hi, I know the website is mainly in french, but you can have a try with the new translate button.
In the tutorials section, you'll find specific topics for :
Glue :
viewtopic.php/f,6/t,88/
Papers :
viewtopic.php/f,6/t,89/
Scanners, and so on.
If you find that Google is not translating right, I am also able to add a "human" translation.
