Gameboy Insert - Size?

Message par setoffo » 16 Mars 2014, 14:21

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to check on the Gameboy insert, both of these;

ASI
https://www.nintandbox.net/index.php/en/ ... _ASI(fr-en).zip/

EUR
https://www.nintandbox.net/index.php/en/ ... _EUR(fr-en).zip/

I can't seem to find the correct size for printing these, I'm using Paint Shop Pro X4 to print which has gone very smoothly for N64, NES and Gameboy boxes but for the inserts for Gameboy it seems that it doesn't want to print correctly.

I have an A3 printer and I guess you must use the A3 format for the gameboy inserts, but everytime I load up the image it just wants to fill out the entire A3 format. The insert cant be that big.. right?

Anyhow, hope someone can help me out!

I found that a 25% printout is more or less perfect. The print should be printed on A3 with 203,641mm width and 301,008mm height.

That seemed to do the trick. But it's of course different from printer to printer.. but this worked for me! What do you think?

Nice work!
I think your insert is good, if you can enter that in the GB box ^^

Thanks! Yes indeed, it is "perfectly" shaped for the size of a GB box. I think the "height" of it is a few millimeters off, but that can be trimmed for next insert.

Got a Donkey Kong box waiting to be assembled, then I can show the insert in action! :)

It's strange, when I try to imprint this inner tray, I have this :

For me, you can use an A4 paper ;) (19,5 x 28,9 cm)
