N64 - Racing Simulator 2

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has the game Racing Simulator 2? Haven't seen it on the site, either in the past or now as I just looked for it.. And I haven't really seen any good material on the web for it either..

The code for the game is NUS-006 (EUR) / NUS-NMGD-NOE - a German release. Not sure if it has been released anywhere else, perhaps thats the reason there is so little info on the game?

Hey Spiral,

No, I don't think that's the one, even though both are made by Ubisoft.. One thought that hit me was that it could be for different markets, but both Monaco Grand Prix that you linked and my Racing Simulator 2 is made for PAL so it should be different games.

But its very close in the "game code".. Monaco Grand Prix is NMGP while Racing Simulator 2 is NMGD.. But I don't think it is the same though..

I just noticed something on the cart label, it actually says in German

"Original Nintendo Qualitäts-Siegel"

So maybe.. maybe.. This is a German only game and the Monaco Grand Prix Racing Simulator 2 is the French version?

By the way.. the photo of the cart is just one I took off the Internet.. funny enough it seems to be German on that photo also.. But when I said I saw that it was German on the cart, I actually looked on my own cartridge.. So it seems to be the same sort of cart on the photo as I have.

It seems that this is the German version of the game apparently.. If Wiki is correct of course

Down at the "Trivia" section it says;

In Germany, the game is just known as Racing Simulation 2 and has a different cover.

So ok, then I know what game it is
