A3 card stock weight - American?

Hey all! Very excited to have stumbled upon this website!

I'm looking for my own paper to buy (so I can take it to a UPS/FedEx store) but I don't know what weight of card stock to buy.

I know A3, the typical one I find (mostly on Amazon) is 100 lbs., which I think is heavier than y'all recommend. I think 300g/m2 is like 65 pounds?

Is that accurate? Looks like it should only be about $2.50/box for me, so I'm really excited to be printing my own - I just need some help on how heavy my card stock should be.

Maybe you could go to a professionnal printer near you, and ask him some hints?
You could show him a box, or any box with the same weight, and ask him what would be the best choice?
Also, my advice is to laser print your boxes to a professional printer. It cheap and the result is pretty cool.

It's matte, 65 pounds (which is about 300g, I think), 11x17 (which is A3).

Do you use matte or glossy?

Sorry I used to print at home, but not anymore.
The bubbel jet ink does not last over time.
You should really consider going to a professinonal, it's about 2-3 Euros per box, and the result is great !

It's matte, but I find it little bit glossy.
