Which printers can you recommend?

Postby Jul3s » 03 November 2017, 10:42

Hey guys,

I recently stumpled upon this website and first off want to say: Thanks for this great idea and project.

I have a nice collection of NES, SNES, Gameboy etc. games, but about half of them lack their original packaging. I started looking around where I could get the original ones and the prices at times were really a bit too high.

Then I found out that there were services who printed those boxes for you. However the cheapest ones still want about 8€ per box. Seeing that I want about 100 of them, it's probably cheaper to just buy a decent printer and the right paper.

I do have a notsoold inkjet printer, however the results didn't really satisfy me.

Is there a printer that some of you who already printed boxes and are satisfied, can recommend? I looked around the web a bit and stumpled upon the Canon MX925 for example, but am not really sold. I would rather like to hear what the expertes have to say :)

Kind regards and thanks for reading

Hello!

Well, at first most of us used personnal printers to make boxes.
But as you highlighted, it's difficult to get satisfaying results.
This is why most of us now go to professionnal printers near our homes.
Maybe you could store somes files on a USB key, then go to a professionnal near you ?
He could print you on thick A3 paper for a reasonnable low price.
