What material to print boxes?

Hey everyone, I'm new here and want to print out some boxes to organise my games, but I'm not sure what to print them out on. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi and welcome,
First of all you will need an inkjet printer if you are going to print scans by yourself.
then, you'll have to buy photo paper (satin, mat or glossy, depends on your preference)
next and finally u need (scissor, cutter, cutting board, metal ruler, pencil, bone folder and strong glue for paper)
well.. that's all you need to start making your own boxes, it's simple when you know how to do it the right way and work with patience :D
however, investing in the good tools makes the job a lot easier for you (like for exemple a printer that can print a3 paper, a creasing machine scoring paper, a professional paper trimmer for a clean job) you can add self adhesive clear film aswell to protect your boxes from water, dust and uv rays or ultraviolet lamps as the colour ink goes over time :?
There are many ways to create boxes but if you want to make something look more like the original nintendo boxes, you'll need to use grey craft cardboard with a special type of inkjet paper and also calculate both paper weight, the paper should not be more than 300g.
otherwise the website offers some tutorials but you gotta be bilingual for this
anyway, hope that helps.

Awesome! Thank you very much for the help! I will try to get a hold of some grey craft cardboard, and look into the special inkjet paper. Maybe it would be easiest to go with the photo paper as you said, though it may not look as good. One additional question, the SNES box inserts, like this: http://imgur.com/ICAO82X would I have to purchase them or is there a guide on how to make them as well?

Great answer husko, thanks !

I would add another way to print is to bring your files to a professionnal printer.
A digital and color print on a 300g paper would cost about 2 Euros for a single A3 box, and the ink would last longer.
Once agin, this is another way, you can find the one most suitable for you by trying ;)

You will find inner tray on the website, for each consoles, in the upper menu :
https://www.nintandbox.net/index.php/en/nintendo-boxes-project/Divers---Miscellaneous/CartonsInternes
Just print then on a thick white paper, and there you will go !
