My first result

My first result

Hello everyone i do not speak French my apologies for posting in English i guess someone can read it hopefully.

My first attempt at re-creating some boxes and card inlay for SNES and N64 are pretty decent.
What i did was merge two SNES images (front / back) into one A3 file in Gimp then printed this on a cardboard
with different weight 300, 370 and 400 and have mixed result.

the Mario Kart has a different color when printed and both N64 and SNES are slightly smaller then the original boxes.
the 300g carton was maybe to light to use it damages fast and the 400g maybe to heavy for proper folding.

So next run i will use the 370 or 350 or if u guys have another suggestion?

Is it normal the boxes are little smaller then normal retail boxes?

Anyways please find below my result including the a3 file.

Greetings

Hi !
No problem for the langage.
It's certainly hard for you to understand the whole site, so I can do the work of speaking english ;)

Well, the size problem that you told seem weird to me.
How much different is it from an original box ? few millimeters, ou more ?

The weird part is that when i did a trial run with just the two parts it was the correct size.

anyways i think it is 0.5CM off both top and bottom, maybe copy shop did not print the a3 correct (doubt it?) ?

Guess i will do with spray glue and Grey cardboard and glossy photo paper instead of printing on 350g cardboard

Greetings
