Help with a project box for my Lunar Silver Star!

Postby LUCONES » 13 July 2019, 15:55

Hi guys, my name is Lucas, Im from Brazil, and I fall in love with this site, the quality of nintendo boxes are amazing. But my post is not about a nintendo game, but a playstation game, the Lunar Silver Star Story complete. I have the original game, but the box is not in good condition, so I want to make a project, but infortunaly I cant find a template, like the ones here, so Im gonna try to make my own. But I dont know where to start, I have the front and back images of the box. Can you guys, give some hints, like the app to use, I can work with photoshop and illustrator, how to get the right size of the box, I dont know even how to start haha. :D :D

(I picked a image of the box on internet)

(sorry for my engligh...)

Reading the scan topics, I think scan the original box and make some retouch is a good option, what do you guys think? Can I scan the original box in steps? Without have to cut the box?

Hello, it looks like a cardboard box, sorry I only have psx normal games. If it is cardboard box you can dissamble and scan it, if you do not want to do it you can scan with scan cover open but you need press against glass if you do not want blurred pictures.

When you scan put in photoshop, take measures from box and create photoshop guides with these measures, then clean and recover broken parts, works will depends that state of your box, but if you have original box you can use clean part and copy in broken parts for example or take missing part from a internet picture.

Regards.

Actually, i own both Lunar 1 and 2 for PlayStation but without the cardboard boxes. I would be very much interested in those scans. I could also help you out with restoring the boxes if you would like. Let me know!

I have good news. I found a shop where the lunar complete edition is sold in very good condition.
The seller allowed me to take photos of the box and all of the box measures. 8-)
