Printing in the US?

Postby Clive75 » 17 February 2017, 09:57

Hey guys, I'm a French -American (salut tout le monde!) living in the US and I would love to print a few boxes for my games. Problem is they do not have A3 size paper like in France. The closest they have is 11x17 inches, while A3 is 11.7x16.5 (297 x 420 mm). Just wondering if there's someone from the US who had success printing them at a local printer shop or maybe Fedex, Staples, OfficeMax etc... Does printing on 11x17 paper affect the box heavily? Can I still put tray and games in it?

Thanks!

Hey!
With your post I now realize there is something unclear in the way we display image sizes :?
When we say "A4" or "A3", it only means that these images will fit inside A4 or A3 paper.

So, if you take one of the biggest boxes here, let's say a SNES box.
It's size is 10,63 x 12,67 inches.
So, a SNES box will also fit on a 11 x 17 inches like you can find in your country ;)

Awesome, yeah that was a bit confusing. Well now I need to find a print shop that will agree to print the boxes. They can be pretty uptight here when it comes to copyright stuff.
